While it maintains a clean, architectural silhouette, the frame relies on a complex internal lamination that gives it a "glowing" edge effect. The Belgium Blue finish features a rich, translucent indigo outer frame that encases a slightly darker, structured inner core, creating a sense of three-dimensional depth.
Technical Craftsmanship & Materials
Seamless Dual-Lamination: The inner and outer acetate silhouettes are milled as independent units. They undergo a proprietary high-pressure lamination process lasting two months, followed by six months of curing to ensure the two materials bond without visible seams or air pockets.
Belgium Blue Acetate: This specific colorway utilizes premium Japanese acetate with high crystalline content, which allows for maximum light transmission through the translucent blue layers, highlighting the interior "skeleton" of the frame.
45-Degree Mitered Joinery: Borrowing from high-end furniture design, the end pieces are mitered at a 45-degree angle. This hide-the-joint technique creates a continuous, uninterrupted flow of the Belgium Blue pattern from the frame front into the temples.
