After years of designing digital experiences , I went back to my creative roots to touch the tactile, the physical and to be bold again. In Florence, I traded pixels for acetate to create This Frameworks, a shop selling a curated selection of unique handmade acetate and titanium eyewear frames from Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Denmark & LA. I believe your eyewear should never "disappear" on your face.
—it should be a declaration of exactly who you are.
A curated vision
This Frameworks is that one in a life time chance to pivot who you are. It started as a dream and has evolved into a curated eyewear destination and design lab. I’m bridging the gap between my digital design past and a tactile eyewear design future.
The Shop: Hand-picked, high-end designer frames from brands like Cazal, Thierry Lasry, Theo, Portrait, Blake Kuwahara and WooW that demand a second glance.
The Lab: Partnering with local precision direct to consumer lab Zoomer to bring high-quality lenses to the boldest frames in Southern California often on the same day.
The Future: I’m currently working on design prototypes and the principles of user-centric design to develop my own signature collection—frames designed not just for "fit," but for feeling and all the vibes!
Feminine Fluidity with Architectural Precision
The Caron is defined by its rounded cat-eye shape and a continuous brow line that gently dips and rises. This creates a smooth visual rhythm that is both soft and confident. Like all Blake Kuwahara frames, it is handcrafted in Japan using a laborious "frame-within-a-frame" lamination technique.
Technical Craftsmanship & Materials
Dual-Layer Lamination: The inner Moss green silhouette and outer frame are milled separately and bonded through a high-pressure lamination process. This is followed by a six-month curing period to ensure a permanent, seamless bond.
Premium Japanese Acetate: Hand-assembled in Japan using high-crystalline acetate. The Moss pigment is a sophisticated, muted green that interacts with the translucent outer layer to provide 3D visual depth.
45-Degree Mitered Joinery: Borrowing from fine furniture design, the temples and front meet at a precise 45-degree angle. This "hidden-joint" technique allows the Moss colorway to flow uninterrupted from the face into the arms.
Reinforced Multi-Barrel Hinges: Outfitted with custom German-engineered hinges secured with nylon-coated stainless steel screws to maintain long-term tension and prevent loosening.

Anatomic High-Pad Bridge: Features an integrated 21mm bridge with built-up acetate pads. This provides superior "lift," making it a comfortable "universal fit" that prevents the frame from resting on the cheeks.
