New specs for This Frameworks?!

Hey everyone! I’m buckling up (and you should too!) because things are about to get real interesting for This Frameworks You know my obsession with beautiful, well-made eyewear, right? Well, that obsession is taking me on an interesting new adventure, and I'm nervously excited to share it with you!
This Frameworks is going analog! I will be doing some frame buying & selling for a local Lens shop! This isn't about opening an old school storefront It's about a new, more personal approach and path. My ultimate goal has always been to create my own eyewear collection, and to do that, I need to learn the business inside and out. That's why I'm kicking off a partnership with a local gem, Zoomers, a precision eyewear lab.
I’ve been getting my own glasses from Zoomers for years now. I hate to admit how many glasses Marco has made for me but I bring him the cool sunglasses that I want to be prescription or my new prescriptions I get every year and he delivers on amazing lenses to match the beautiful frames I find from all over the world! He is the best kept local secret that needs to get out! When ever I get a complement on my frames I tell people about him. Not only does he make the best lenses I’ve every worn, he does them 10x faster and for a very reasonable cost. Perfect for people like me that hate waiting to wear your rad new frames. Once you've experienced the quality of their lenses, there's no going back—your eyes will thank you. Pro tip don’t believe them when they say “you just have to get use to it”.
So, here's the plan… we're going to start small. Think of it as a pop-up with a purpose. I'll be bringing in a carefully curated collection of high-end designer frames, and with Zoomers, you can get your prescription lenses made and in your hands in about a day. This lets me connect directly with the people who actually wear the glasses, and get a feel for what works and what doesn't. Feedback will be a huge part of the learning process that gets me one step closer to creating my own brand. Also it will be for the local market (sorry extended This Framworks fam) until we increase business and create an app that will allow people to send in their frames or buy frames and lenses online.
To start, we're bringing in two brands that I absolutely love and that I think perfectly capture the local beach city vibes:

This is just the beginning. I'm already dreaming up weekend trunk shows and considering other amazing brands to feature, like Portrait Eyewear (portraiteyewear.com), Akoni (akoni.com), and Mykita (mykita.com).
