Form and function unite, a call for feedback

As many of you know, I'm currently deeply immersed in my Eyewear Design program at the Polimoda Fashion Institute.

My study is specifically designed to understand the discerning eye of those who are passionate about high art items and things like mid-century modular furniture, especially iconic pieces from the late 1960s and early 1970s—think the timeless genius of a Dieter Rams 620 chair or the elegant lines of mid-century modern architecture. I'm also looking at how this refined aesthetic translates into the early adoption of cutting-edge personal technology, like the latest Pixel or iPhone.

For me, this research is incredibly personal. Eyewear has always been far more than just a functional tool; it's a piece of art on my face, a canvas that expresses my creativity, my mood, and my unique style. It became a vital form of self-expression for me.

I believe there's a strong correlation between how we curate our physical spaces and personal tech, and how we choose what frames our vision. So, I'm genuinely curious: What kinds of objects do you love to collect, and what drives that passion—is it the craftsmanship, the story behind the design, the unique aesthetic, or perhaps the way it speaks to a particular era or movement? How do these same sensibilities influence your personal style, especially when it comes to accessories like eyewear?
